The Platform Support Specialist (PSS) supports the ministry of Adventist Information Ministry (AIM) by providing direct support for users of the Adventist Connect platform. This part-time student position involves direct interaction with our Adventist Connect users via phone, chat, and email, guiding them through their journey on our platform, addressing inquiries, and helping them achieve their goals in an efficient and friendly way.
What You’ll Do:
- Direct User Support: Engage with users across phone, chat, and email, assisting them with a variety of questions and issues.
- User Journey Guidance: Learn about each user’s goals and needs, offering personalized advice to help them make the most of their site and online presence.
- Problem-Solving and Solutions: Help users navigate and troubleshoot WordPress-based and web/internet related issues while introducing them to new tools or solutions that support their objectives.
- Documentation and Resources: Create and maintain clear, helpful documentation for platform features, common user questions, troubleshooting tips, that seeks to improve user self-service and support team efficiency.
- Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with users, aiming to ensure a positive experience and high satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to stay updated on platform features and communicate user needs effectively.
- User Experience Enhancement: Proactively suggest improvements to support processes, workflows, and resources to elevate the user experience.
Expectations:
- Must be a fluent and effective communicator in the English language. Ability to communicate in other languages a plus, especially Spanish.

The hourly range for this position is between $16.44 – 16.48.
